Prof. Dr. Alex Demirović is a German social scientist and a representative of critical theory.
He was an adjunct professor at the University of Frankfurt am Main, then taught at the Technical University of Berlin and was subsequently a professor of critical social theory at the University of Frankfurt am Main. He is currently a Senior Fellow of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Berlin. He hosts the Foundation's theory podcast Too long, didn't read.
In 2015, the anthology Perspektiven und Konstellationen kritischer Theorie (Perspectives and Constellations of Critical Theory) was published with Bob Jessop and Ulrich Brand, among others.
