Dr Simon Schaupp is a senior lecturer at the Department of Sociology at the University of Basel. He researches the digitalisation of the world of work and the ecological crisis. For his dissertation, he worked for six months in digitally controlled workplaces as a bicycle courier and in the electrical industry.
