Prof. Dr. Staffan I. Lindberg teaches political science and is Director of the V-Dem Institute at the University of Gothenburg. He is a Fellow of the Wallenberg Academy and author of Democracy and Elections in Africa (2006) and co-author of Varieties of Democracy (2020).
