Ingrid Hoffmann is a qualified language mediator for Spanish and French, was a translator and simultaneous interpreter in Berlin and then worked in sales for a large mechanical engineering company in Hamburg. She was a works council member and is a member of IG Metall. Now a pensioner, she is active in the Berlin rent movement and in the initiative "Expropriate Deutsche Wohnen & Co".
