Anca Giurgiu

Anca Giurgiu is from Romania and is a co-founder of the London mining network (LMN) member group Environment and Social Change, a diaspora group based in London working on issues such as mining, fracking, deforestation, social justice and climate change. She currently coordinates the climate change team for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, working with vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in London. She develops climate change and fuel poverty initiatives and community-owned energy projects that put power in the hands of the people and communities at the heart of the energy system. She has been a member of LMN since 2015 and sat on LMN's advisory committee before becoming a trustee in June 2019.
